Job Description

The Part-Time Payroll Specialist will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll processing for hourly and salaried employees. This includes timecard review, data entry, compliance with federal and state regulations, and responding to payroll-related inquiries. They will offer flexible hours during standard work hour time frames.

Responsibilities

 

  • Process bi-weekly payroll for 100 hourly and salaried employees using in CMIS.
  • Review and reconcile timesheets submitted by employees and supervisors.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and tax forms.
  • Assist with payroll-related reporting and audits as needed.
Qualifications

 

  • 2+ years of payroll processing experience; experience in construction or related industry is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance.
  • Proficient in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks, etc.).
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
